Swim Team News
Who is ready for Swim Team and Buccaneers? We are!
Even with the Community Swim Association’s (CSA) cancellation of dual and city meets this season, we have a fun swim team summer planned! We’ll focus on practice and have a fun inter club meet towards the end of the season.
Monday we will start swim team and based on the numbers of swimmers signed up, we’ll offer two sessions.
If you have not dropped off your waiver and check, please bring your waiver and check to practice next week and give to Leigh Abraham or Dixie Wells or Lindsay Jones. Please visit the website for the forms: Please click on the link to the left to download the registration forms and waiver and bring a check the first day of practice.
Swim Team is $75 per swimmer and Buccaneers is $65 per swimmer and extra donations are appreciated as we keep our coaches onboard during a different swim season than in years past!
Please email us at email@example.com if you would like to donate more to help Sherwood and members in need of assistance

Buccaneers June 15th - July 3rd
Monday and Wednesday and Friday

To keep the transition smooth and swimmers distanced:
8 and 9 am swimmers:
Please have 8 am swimmers put their belongings on the picnic tables below the deck. This group will exit the pool at 9 am.
10 am swimmers:
Belongings should be placed near the middle pool area on the picnic tables and tables under the large umbrella.
Our Buccaneers will be accompanied by an adult and can place belongings with the adult in their place of choice.
Please note that Sherwood staff is taking extra precautions this summer for sanitation and safety measures. We are following the guidelines made by the governor and NCDHHS. We will space swimmers out in lanes and line ups and encourage social distancing as best as we can, we’ll utilize the deep end to maximize space, and allow short blocks of time for transitions for practice scheduling.
We also encourage parents to congregate on the observation deck and not on the pool deck.
We’ll continue to monitor this and make necessary changes as needed.
Please note that many of our awesome coaches offer private lessons! Feel free to discuss this opportunity with them directly and schedule swim time for your child(ren).
