Mike Weidl, has been the Director of Tennis since 1999. A UNC Greensboro graduate, Mike brings over 25 years of tennis experience. After fine tuning his skills as a professional at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Buhl, Germany; Mike returned to the States in 1993 to teach at Sedgefield Swim and Racquet and then Greensboro Country Club before becoming the Director of Tennis at Goldsboro Country Club.  He won the USTA Men’s National Amateur Championship in both Singles & Doubles in 1993. Also a member of a 5.0 and 5.5 and 40’s national championship team.   Actively involved in the USPTA, Mike is a certified P-1 teaching professional.
